About me

My name is Sarah and I study at Charles University, where I have two fields of study at the same time. The first one is biology and pedagogy at the Faculty od Education and the second one is Hispanic studies at the Faculty of Arts. I have a lot of experience with children. Especially through Scouting, where I grew up as a child and where I worked for a couple of years. Every year I participate in summer camps with a supervised program for children and teenagers. There I prepare the program and take care of children of all ages. In addition to Scouting, I also prepared several weekend programs for children from 3 to 12 years which served as a guarding parallel "mini-conference" to the conference for parents. During my stay as an Erasmus student in Madrid, I worked as a teacher at the Czech School in Madrid where I could try and master working with children who speak a different mother tongue than Czech. I’m also an aunt and I spend a lot of time with my nieces. Thanks to that, I got the nickname Lála when my niece couldn’t pronounce my name properly.:)

I've been babysitting in Prague practically the whole time I've been studying at university, so my babysitting experience has also expanded considerably. I have always got along with families - both parents and children. Thanks to my language skills, I often babysit in bilingual families. Now I also have the opportunity to babysit your children in my apartment in Vinohrady.

I’ve always have a lot of hobbies, like playing the accordion or ukulele, singing, literature, ceramics, drawing, painting, doing sport, theatre, trips, travelling, learning languages,... And now I can use all this experience for working with children and coming up with interesting and playful programs. I have always been close to children due to my playfulness, enthusiasm and interest.

During my spare time I also tutor Spanish, so apart from babysitting I can offer this as another option.:)
