About me

Hi, my name is Markéta and I like to spend time with children. I studied at the Přípotoční Gymnasium and this year I am starting my studies at the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague. I chose this school precisely because one of my main interests is nature, where I also spend a lot of time. Besides that, I like to read, spend time with friends and travel. When I can, I go abroad for work, this way I have already spent some time on a farm in Spain and Austria, where I helped with work and animals and at the same time had the opportunity to penetrate the local culture, practice languages ​​and at the same time get great new experiences.

I like children and therefore I would like to spend my free time with them. I gained my first experience when, as a long-time field hockey player, I also started coaching children aged 6 to 8. I regularly made up trainings and games for the children, went with them to matches and training sessions. Now I occasionally babysit my little niece who is less than 2 years old. I've been looking after her since she was born, so I'm also used to really small children.

It is not a problem to spend time with children at home, where we can play, draw or create something, or outside, where we can go for a walk or to the playground. As part of the babysitting, I can pick up the children from school/kindergarten and also cook them something to eat at home.

Jsem česká rodilá mluvčí. Celý život se ve škole i ve svém volném čase potýkám s angličtinou, proto pro mě není problém anglicky komunikovat v domácnosti nebo s ní pomoci dětem (doučování, domácí úkoly...). Nyní mám certifikát s jazykovou úrovní B2-středně pokročilý. Mimo jiné k mým zájmům patří španělština, ze které jsem úspěšně maturovala a poté strávila 2 týdny ve španělsky mluvící rodině ve Valencii. Jsem tedy schopná se i v tomto jazyce domluvit nebo pomoci dětem, když bude potřeba. :)
