About me

I studied at the Pedagogical Lyceum at the Secondary Pedagogical School in Beroun. Subsequently, I continued my studies in Teaching English and Czech language and literature for lower secondary school level at the Faculty of Education of the University of South Bohemia. However, I abandoned studies after a year and a half because I was increasingly drawn to younger children, whom I have always loved. Therefore, I moved to Prague and started working in a kindergarten and studied Pre-school and Extra-curricular Pedagogy at the post-secondary vocational school Evropská 33 in Dejvice, Prague, while working. I worked in a kindergarten in Vinohrady for two years and in a kindergarten in Letná for four years. I always worked with pre-school children, thus focusing on their preparation for entering primary school. I also helped out at the Baby Club Oliver in Vinohrady (cufrently closed), where I cared for children aged approximately 1.5 to 5 years. After six years of working in kindergartens, I became a mother and now have two children. My daughter is 2.5 years old, and my son is 4.5 years old.

While working, I completed several courses and seminars, such as the Recreational Event Health Worker course, the Dialogue to Respect - Working with the Persona Dolls Method course, and a two-year participation in the Support for Early Literacy in Pre-school Education project, where I focused on early literacy.

As a stay-at-home mom, I continued to educate myself in the field of upbringing, education, and childcare through reading various books and watching webinars, such as To Respect and To Be Respected, Aha! Parenting, etc.

I play the soprano and alto recorder, the piano, and I enjoy singing with children. We love reading books. I am sports-oriented - I exercise, run, and ride a bike. I often take trips with my children to nature, enjoying forests and various educational trails.

In upbringing and education, I strive for a maximally respectful, loving, and empathetic approach. I take into account the individuality of each person and approach each child as a unique personality.
