About me

Hi! I'm Matthew, 26 y.o. I graduated in Architecture and Civil Engineering from CTU in Prague and now I am working on my master thesis, which gives me a more flexible schedule. In my free time I like to play guitar and draw.

I have two brothers - one of the same age and one younger. We have always helped each other and get along great. I've been a Boy Scout since I was a kid, which has given me not only life skills but also friendships for life, no exaggeration. I have been an active member since I was 11 years old and later, for almost 10 years, also a leader to the next generation of the group I grew up in. I participated in the organization and running of the troop, prepared the program for the whole year and summer camps in the Krušné Hory, and worked within the 7th Scout Center Blaník Prague.

Thanks to scouting I have experience leading children of different ages - from the youngest to teenagers. I am patient, tolerant, but I can also be consistent when necessary. I have an insight into pedagogical approaches and have been through training courses in Junák, such as the waiting course.

I haven't babysat commercially, but I certainly don't take that as an obstacle - I have plenty of experience with children, and I don't lack enthusiasm. I am happy to make arrangements to suit your needs.

Angličtina B2 - C1 (absolvoval jsem dvakrát semestrální zahraniční studijní pobyt - jednou ve Skotsku v Glasgow a po druhé na Taiwanu v Taipei - dokáži doučovat do určité úrovně, ale nestudoval jsem jazyk jako hlavní objekt, spíš pro mě je prostředkem pro studium jiných témat) Němčina A2 (měl jsem na střední škole, ale od té doby moje úroveň upadla - nedokáži doučovat, spíše bych sám potřeboval :DD)
