About me
I graduated from the Secondary School of Librarianship in Brno and then from the Charles University in Prague. I currently work in a translation agency as a proofreader. I have experience with Czech tutoring (also for the second grade of primary school), I tutored a 9-year-old Ukrainian boy and prepared a 14-year-old girl for entrance exams in Czech (both successfully):-)
The teaching style is proactive, I try to bring the children closer to the Czech language through questions, dictation and explanations, I try to get them to think independently so that they can connect the knowledge they have acquired from other subjects, such as history or geography (important for writing upper and lower case letters) or arts. Everything is related to everything else, and I am sorry when I sometimes see schools treating subjects separately, rather than comprehensively and in context. Everyone should speak properly, no matter where they work or live.

Paní Miroslava k nám dochází dvakrát týdně a pomáhá synovi (2. třída) s domácími úkoly. Kromě toho se s ním navíc věnuje češtině a matematice. Ani si nedokážu představit, jak se Miroslavě daří za jednu až jeden a půl hodiny stihnout s Fedorem tolik věcí. Syn píše, čte, převypravuje, odpovídá na otázky, počítají úlohy a procvičují gramatiku.
Miroslavě se podařilo najít k Fedorovi skvělý přístup. Syn nikdy neprotestuje a v klidu si sedne k učení. Moc děkujeme! Velmi doporučuji!
