O mne

Hi, my name is Kimia. I'm an English/Kindergarten teacher.
I have been teaching English for more than three and a half years. I started working at a kindergarten about a year ago. As a teenager I babysat from time to time to help my relatives and currently, I babysit a 15-month-old boy who has Canadian-German parents.
I love working with kids, and I care about their feelings. They’re so passionate about everything, and they always want to explore the world around them. Therefore, I want them to feel they’re in a loving and secure environment so they can explore. And I’m happy to help them develop their knowledge.
I always ensure that they take part in different activities, whether they are indoors or outdoors, depending on the child’s age and developmental level. For instance, I create activities such as singing, storytelling, arts and crafts, and gentle physical exercises.
I am familiar with the Montessori method and I hold a certificate in Art for Kids, where I have learned specialized knowledge and skills on how to use art to engage the kids in art-related activities and how to help them become creative and practice fine motor skills.
