About me

Hi! I'm Zayda, I'm from an island in the USA. I grew up taking care of my younger siblings and cousins, plus nannying and working as a camp counselor during summers, which inspired me to pursue a career in teaching. I was a preschool teacher here in Brno for three years and it was such a joy! I currently give private English lessons to about ten of my previous students, and I'm looking to add babysitting for a more relaxed balance.

Availability

I'm available in the mornings and early afternoons. Tuesday-Friday I give English lessons from approximately 14-18, depending on the day. My whole Monday is free, as are most of my weekends!

Autism Spectrum Disorder, Hyperactivity, Care for Sick Children, and Food Allergies

Working in classrooms with upwards of 17 children, I learned how to adapt to every child's needs. So there are some things I haven't experienced before, but I'm happy and willing to do my own research and learn as I go.

Singing/playing musical instrument, Drawing, painting, Dance/physical activity, and Sport

I love to do anything active, whether it's playing outside or painting on a rainy day. There's never too many activities and I'm always up for anything!

I am a native English speaker, since I grew up in the USA. I've lived in Brno for five years now and have picked up a decent amount of the Czech language, I can understand a bit and speak a bit too!

Certification

I am looking into getting first aid certified.
