About me

I first started babysitting within my family, often helping out with my younger cousins (three boys, one was an only child at first, then twins arrived three years later). Later, I began babysitting for other families through contacts from my parents, and my network grew from there :) Currently, I’m babysitting an adopted boy whom I’ve looked after since he was 2 years old, almost right after his adoption, and he’s now 6. I also take care of a brother (8) and sister (4). The boy has epilepsy (he no longer has seizures but is on permanent medication) and developmental delays, mentally functioning at the level of a 3-4-year-old. Additionally, I help care for a 1-year-old boy in temporary foster care. Until last year, I also babysat for a bilingual Czech-Russian family.
