About me

I moved to Prague when I was 19 to study at Charles University. My main focus is on psychology and neuroscience, but I am almost equally interested in languages and translation, multiculturalism, human rights, and philosophy. I strive to educate myself in these areas through extracurricular activities as well (e.g. lectures, conferences). Like most, my experience with childcare began with baby-sitting younger siblings and children of our family friends. However, I also have professional experience. From February 2022 to December 2023 I worked as a personal assistant for children and adults on autistic spectrum (aged 3 to 30). We spent our time together for 2-5 hours, one-on-one, either at their home or outdoors. Even when I was trying to teach them something or we had certain tasks to complete, the schedule was primarily adjusted to the activities they enjoyed and had fun doing. In the future I would like to work with children and adolescents at a psychological clinic or in therapy. I also have experience with bilingual families and I consider English to be my second mother tongue:)) Lastly, since I was 12 I had been taking care of my dog that was solely my responsibility, so if you happen to have a dog, i will be delighted!

Zvládnem doučovať angličtinu (C2 - mám certificát CAE). Z nemčiny mám B2, takže sa dohovorím na tej najelementárnejšej úrovni. Ako-tak rozumiem akémukoľvek slovanskému jazyku (ako je napr. poľský/chorvátsky), ale dohovorím sa len v tých zvyšných 4.
