About me

My name is Kateřina, and I graduated in Special Pedagogy and Speech Therapy from Masaryk University. Although I currently work in IT, I continue to educate myself in my field because working with children has always been my passion. I have been caring for children for many years. I have experience with regular kindergartens and schools as well as schools for children with special needs, including speech therapy schools and schools for children with hearing or vision impairments.

In addition to my professional experience, I have also spent a lot of time with my cousin's children, who are now 11, 9, and 4 years old. This has allowed me to work with children of various ages, and I know how to approach them in a way that makes them feel safe and engaged.

I have cared for children in family settings as well as at camps and on trips, where I often designed various activities. I get along well with children of all ages and enjoy spending time with them both indoors and outdoors. I love crafting and creating, as well as playing fun games or helping with homework. Thanks to my practice, I also have extensive experience working with children with special needs and disabilities. I have also worked with gifted children.

I approach children with friendliness and understanding, always aiming to come up with activities that will both entertain and develop them. For me, child care is not just about supervision—it's about making sure children feel good and have a meaningful experience.

Ráda fotografuji a mohu se této aktivitě věnovat i s dětmi. Od svých 7 let hraji na klavír, který mě vždy velmi bavil. S dětmi se také mohu věnovat tanci, který byl od dětství velkou součástí mého života, nebo si spolu můžeme zahrát divadlo.

Mám certifikáty z kurzů znakového jazyka, kterému se věnuji také ve svém volném čase. Absolvovala jsem rozsáhlý kurz zaměřený na žáky s odlišným mateřským jazykem, jejich vyučování a speciální potřeby. Získala jsem také certifikát z edukační transakční analýzy (ETA).
