About me

Hello, dear family! 🙋🏻‍♀️👋🏻

In February, I’ll be returning to the Czech Republic and will have time to focus on babysitting or teaching your children. Let me introduce myself. My name is Martina, and I am a student at the Faculty of Education, where I study English and Social Sciences.

I’d describe myself as a very active person who loves trying new things. My favorite activities include running🏃🏻‍♀️ and hiking⛰️—preferably for several days in a row. I enjoy all kinds of sports and take every opportunity to try them. 🧗🏐🏄🏻‍♀️🥏⛷️ I also love singing and spent many years performing in choirs and as a soloist. Additionally, I’ve played the flute and recorder and even taught myself the basics of playing the guitar. 🎵

As for my experience with children:

📌 Summer 2018: I spent 6 weeks as an au pair in London, taking care of two children (aged 8 and 11).
📌 Summer 2019: I worked as an au pair again, this time for a family with four children.
👶 Babysitting in the Czech Republic: For several years, I have been babysitting through |link hidden| , mostly on an occasional basis. Currently, I help one family with babysitting from time to time. Most of the children I’ve cared for were aged 5–9.
📚 Teaching and tutoring: I have been tutoring English regularly for several years with one family. I also taught English classes in a kindergarten in Prague. Furthermore, I led group lessons in recorder playing for children aged 4–7 at a small school in Malešice and provided individual lessons for younger children in their homes.

Availability

Pracuji úterý a středu celý den (8:00 - 17:00), mám možnost s tím občas trochu hýbnout a mohu po domluvě pracovat na home office. Ve čtvrtek pracuji jen půlden. Neváhejte se zeptat na mou dostupnost v konkrétním termínu, jelikož se můj rozvrh často mění a dá se upravit. Určitě se domluvíme :-)

Singing/playing musical instrument, Drawing, painting, Dance/physical activity, and Sport

Navštěvovala jsem ZUŠ, kde jsem dlouho hrála na příčnou flétnu a před tím na zobcovou a také jsem zde zpívala ve sboru i sólově. Zpívám ještě ve školním sboru. Další má záliba je málo známý sport - frisbee ultimate. Momentálně chodím i na tenis, beach volejbal, badminton, ráda sporty vystřídám. Tanec a kreslení i další různé tvoření mě také moc baví. Mám ráda všechny možné druhy sportů i umění.

Languages

Čeština, English, and Spanish

Studuji Univerzitu Karlovu, angličtinu a ZSV. Španělštinu mám asi na úrovni A2 a v ruštině mám jen úplné základy. Dvě léta jsem strávila jako aupair v Londýně a půl roku jsem byla na Erasmu v Barceloně.
