Marina did a great job with my senior dog. She walked him and cuddled him, and I got several updates throughout the day. She was also flexible with dropoff and pickup times. He was confident and happy when I picked him up. I will definitely use her again!

About me

Hello! I’m Marina, your friendly dog-enthusiast. I am from California, with family ties back to Slovakia and Latin America. I’ve lived in Prague since 2013. By day I like to spend my time with canines, sometimes even driving out to cool hikes and forests, and by night I am a singer-songwriter/recording artist.

Growing up, my family always had dogs: German shepherd, beagles, labradors, golden retriever, boxer. When I moved out on my own I got my own dog, a Boxer-Rottweiler, with whom I made memories for ten years before her sudden passing due to a heart problem in late 2021.

Since then I’ve been dedicated to caring for other people’s doggos. As I mentioned above, I enjoy taking dogs with me on long walks and hikes in and around Prague. I can also offer some training, socializing, and have no issue administering medicine (as I have experience with my own dogs, one of which required special care after multiple surgeries). I have my own dog bowls home as well as a travel bowl for keeping your pup hydrated, my car is equipped with a full backseat dog basket, and my arms are strong enough to hold back a dog of up to 30kg (I work out).

My lifestyle allows me to spend my days as I wish and honestly, I can think of no better way to spend it than with an enthusiastic buddy by my side. I’m not ready to get another dog of my own though, so I walk and dogsit for others.

What I would like to know about the of the dog/pet

Before meeting up with your pup I’d like to know their gender, age, temperament, training level, castration status, what type of activities they enjoy, what they’re motivated by (snacks? praise? games?)

Although I’m happy to spend time with virtually any dog breed, there are some I have less of a connection with; chihuahua, yorkie, whippet/gray hound, borzoi, Akita.

Breed I prefer are usually medium-large, shorthair, spunky types such as bully breeds, boxer, retriever, etc.

Unfortunately I cannot welcome cats, as my partner is allergic.
