About me

I have experience pet-sitting dogs and cats for friends. In Slovakia, I had a rescue dog and also took care of foster dogs until my son was born, who is now 8 years old and loves animals. I also photographed dogs for the local shelter. I’ve had a close bond with animals since childhood. As a single mother and scientist, I have a busy schedule and am not getting a pet right now. However, I miss their companionship and would love to occasionally take care of a cat. Unfortunately, I don’t have enough time for a dog due to work commitments, but a cat can manage to be alone at home for 8 hours, and cats enjoy staying with us. We do have a lot of plants, so it would be better if we take care of a cat that doesn’t chew on plants.:)

What I would like to know about the of the dog/pet

It is important for me to know how the pet behaves around children, whether it has any allergies or other health issues. I would also need to know if I should hide items like carpets or anything else the pet might destroy at home.
